~Heart-Adoptables was sweet enough to give her to me for free, how lovely is that? c:
With a coat that glittered like a jewel box and a disposition as sweet as her cotton-candy coloring, it was hard to believe that anyone could resist purchasing this mare-- the thought of someone actually wanting to sell her was unfathomable! Casca sidled up to the fence of the paddock in which the little horse was stabled. Her pasturemate was nibbling on her mane; the mare gazed demurely at the two watching humans through long lavender lashes, silky pink ribbon of a tail swishing contentedly in the morning sunlight.
"She definitely looks like a sweetheart," Casca agreed, resisting the urge to gush about the little mare's apparent sugary interior that matched her pastel pelt.
"Oh, she is," the seller reassured, grinning widely. "Totally broke too. Never put a foot wrong."
"And you're just... giving her away? For free?"
"Absolutely, isn't this your lucky day, ma'am?"
Casca squinted at the woman, suspicious. Then she looked back at the mare-- her dainty, elegant head, her carefully made neck with a delicate arch, and her strong dry legs. It seemed too good to be true, but how could she say no? "Must be. I'll get the trailer."
Moonchild Name:Moonchild "Moon: Registries:Pending Gender:Mare Breed: Arabian (Egyptian) Age: 4 Height: 14.2 Color: Lavender Markings: Baby pink mane and tail, delicate pastel tribal markings, light silver-purple hooves and eyes. Discipline: None yet Passible Traits:(Some but not all these traits will be passed) Pastel coat will always be inherited-- the foal may recieve some darker markings but soft, pale colors will dominate. Silver eyes are also a possiblity, as well as piles and piles of silkspun hair. Sire/Dam: Unknown/Unknown Bloodlines: N/A (Starter) Offspring: None... Personality: Some things are indeed too good to be true. Turns out the mare was not started undersaddle whatsoever; she wasn't even halter-broke. We had to sedate her to get her in the trailer for the ride home. But a green horse isn't always such a bad thing-- it's like having a clean slate to work off. After she settled in at home and relaxed a bit, Moonchild started to show her true personality. She really is very sweet and meek, if shy. Moonchild is very mistrustful of strangers but it doesn't take her long to warm up to you. Although she's very timid, when she becomes frightened she tends to merely freeze up rather than bolt or react violently, making her quite safe to work with. We have high hopes for her as a halter horse, broodmare, andd perhaps doing some lower-level dressage. For stud/lease: No
